Nance Harding, MAHS-LPC joined DBM/Leigh Hecht Harrison in 1998 as a licensed career counselor for the DBM Austin, Texas office. There she served as a senior consultant working with executives from a variety of industries including Investment Banking, Financial Services, Manufacturing, High Tech and Healthcare. Key accomplishments within DBM include:
- Chosen as member of senior consultant team responsible for the Dell Executive Career Center during the downturn in the High Tech sector
- Recruited as a member of Latitude, a highly innovative elearning group responsible for the creation and facilitation of instructional career transition webinars. This group eventually became known as DBM North America – On Demand Delivery
- Created DBM’s first LinkedIn webinar
- Developed and drove online executive career transition program
- Since 2001 has presented DBM’s Retirement Success Program to thousands of clients
- Consistently one of the highest rated consultants with executive clients
Prior to DBM/LHH, she spent 8 years in the medical industry working in marketing and sales for two international corporations. During that time she attended St. Edward’s University graduating with a cross-disciplinary MAHS degree in management and psychology. After she finished a two year internship she was awarded licensure in professional counseling. She rounded out her education by training at Harvard’s Negotiation Program for Senior Executives and the National Academy of Mediation in Dallas, Texas.
In 2009 she returned to New Orleans where she splits her time between work with DBM/LHH and her private practice as a professional counselor who offers clients innovative ways of coping and thriving during midlife and beyond. She holds licensure in Louisiana and Texas and is certified in retirement and career counseling. She is a member of the American Counseling Assoc., A&M University’s Friends of Analytical Psychology, The Jung Center of Houston and the Depth Psychology Alliance.
